I created Bushido Advisory in 2016 after 15 years as a humanitarian professional
in various locations, working with colleagues from all around the world.
From my experience at the United Nations as a specialised lawyer,
dealing with the crimes committed in Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia (ICTY),
and then as responsible for the training of humanitarian professionals at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC),
I gained a reputation as a practical lawyer and as an engaging facilitator.
Based on my international experience I’ve also extended my activities to propose mentoring for senior professionals,
to support them in their decision-making related to human rights and international humanitarian law,
but also to help them develop their career.
Soon this led me to life and performance coaching,
to further help expatriates and field colleagues to reach a better life balance,
keep their motivation at the highest level, expand their career, change life at times!
Life is too short not to!
